I am so, so excited to share this beautiful wedding on my blog! It’s been a while since i’ve photographed a backyard wedding — brings back the days of 2020 and covid (yikes) But donna and glenn chose to do their wedding on their property to celebrate and honor their next chapter in their lives together. Bringing family and friends from all over to celebrate together in this joyous occasion. I loved seeing their property transformed into a beautiful, lush wedding thanks to the help from the amazing team from smash events. Their wedding day had a few ups and downs with pending rain and having to rely on plan b and other back up solutions. however all that mattered was that donna and glenn opened up their home and their hearts to their close friends and family to share an amazing weekend with them.

Dominique and the team from Smash Events did a phenomenal job transforming this space into a gorgeous, show stopping reception space for Donna and Glenn’s wedding! I L O V E a tented reception for the sole reason that it’s so easy to photograph and I can really play around with off camera lighting to get superb photos of everyone dancing and having fun! The details were so much to photograph and I loved how they paired the deep greens and purple with mismatched glasses and place wear for dinner. The lush floral arrangements and greenery tied the whole design together and created a fun, intimate reception space in what would otherwise be an empty field. Despite the rain, Smash Events also created an open air lounge area with vintage, mismatched furniture to give guests space outside the tent / dance floor to mingle.
